Therefore far, there has been no official announcement of Hundred Season 2, so there is no release date for the second season of this anime. However, the question is whether there will be a Hundred Season 2 and when it will be published.

Hundred, also known as Handoreddo in Japan, is an anime series based on a popular light novel of the same name that was released in 2012. Jun Misaki wrote the Hundred light book series, which was drawn by Nekosuke Kuma.
Hundred is a popular mecha-harem anime series with action aspects that follows Hayato Kisaragi, a youngster who has the greatest compatibility level with the technology known as Hundred and is thus invited to a famous military academy aboard a battleship to hone his talents.
So far, Tomoki Kobayashi’s anime television series Hundred has only had one season, directed by him and animated by Studio Production IMS. There’s no indication yet on whether the filmmaker will return for Hundred s2.
In April 2016, the first 12-episode Hundred television anime series began in Japan. Since then, the series has garnered a considerable fan audience that are still waiting for Hundred Season 2 Episode 1 or a sequel.
Will there be a second season of Hundred?
Season 2 of Hundred will never materialize. The Hundred anime, unfortunately, was not a financially successful adaptation. As a result, the anime’s second season was never planned, and the studio that created it shut down in 2018. Furthermore, the series came to an end in 2018, thus there is nothing new to promote.
The Hundred anime was a financial failure. The average number of Blu-Ray sales is around 1,350, which is a low quantity, and this series has no merchandising and only one figure. Also, the most recent volume of the light book only sold about 5,000 copies, and that was after the anime adaptation, so I don’t think Hundred season 2 will happen.
In addition, Production IMS, the firm that animated the series, filed for bankruptcy in 2018. The light novels came to an end with Volume 16. As a result, the production committee has no reason to agree to fund another season of this series.
Release Date for Season 2 of Hundred
Because a second season was never confirmed, canceled, or announced, there is no countdown, and a release date will never be published because a second season will never be announced.
I can confidently tell that a fresh season and release date for this anime sequel will never be announced. There are simply too many reasons working against this series receiving more anime productions in the future. In the last four years, even Twitter and the official websites haven’t been updated.

Final Thoughts
Many anime lovers would be ecstatic if Season 2 of Hundred anime was announced, but this will never happen. If you want to continue the Hundred story, I recommend reading the light novels because a second season is unlikely.
